Picking up lunch in Kiribilli was an interesting one. There's a handful of eateries along the Main Street next to the Sydney Harbor Bridge. I relocated here to Kirribilli to prepare for the 2018 Sydney Running Festival.

The soul of mine decided that Thai would be a good choice. I was on foot, without viable cheap transportation options, other than Uber, I decided to stay around this quaint area of Kirribilli, since my hotel accommodations was about 1/2 mile away from this stretch of stores and restaurants on Broughton Street. I was here around 2pm on a brisk Saturday afternoon - after walking from Hyde Park and across the Sydney Harbor Bridge for the fun of it. It was around 1:30pm when I arrived and saw that the restaurant doors were open, but nobody dining in there. Wasn't sure if they were closed but opening soon, so I asked. I ultimately went to take away and ate near the Lady Gowrie lookout nearby. This transaction basically took about maybe 15 minutes from start to finish. I felt like this was a family run restaurant, especially when the server that I talk to to order was caring for her son also. And it appears that the chefs are her parents tending to the food prep. Many Asian restaurants are small family run businesses these days and it is awesome to perpetuate their culture through food and its deliciousness. For the most part though, I was happy to find Thai fusion Thai restaurant here in Kirribilli.

Thai cuisine is always a special treat for me, since I don't eat this type of cuisine regularly. So because I am on holiday here in Sydney, Australia, it is nice to support local wherever possible. The overall experience here at Thai fusion restaurant in the Kiribilli district of North Sydney, Australia was basically touch and go. I like the fact that they are quick and easy dining option, if you are here in the area of North Sydney. The overall experience here at Thai fusion Thai restaurant here in Kiribilli / North Sydney, Australia was quite good, even though it was a take away. The restaurant itself was clean and yet small. It boasted about 8 tables and felt quite cozy and romantic at the same time. The ambiance was quiet and comfortable, but yet casual at the same time. Thai Fusion Thai restaurant is located at 11 Broughton Street in Kiribilli / North Sydney. Just beyond the Sydney harbor bridge really. They accept major credit cards, which is always a plus - especially international Visa cards. Since this restaurant sits in largely suburban residential surroundings, you can find street parking here, which is a lot of it.

There is a train station here at Kiribilli and of course, you can take uber here too. Whatever you do to get here, come and try this place out! You will not regret it. For the most part though, it was nice to come here and enjoy Thai food here in North Sydney. I basically ordered fried rolls and an order of panag curry. The order of rice was definitely extra and cost extra too. It was a nice meal, along with a $5 bottle of Diet Coke purchased at the Fruit store nearby. The prices here are generally good, although being an American, it was tough to convert currency on the fly, so I just went with it - being on vacation. The panag curry was nice and spicy. With rice, it made a delectable option for anyone who loves Thai curries. The spring rolls were a delightful treat. I actually ordered two side orders of rice and ended up keeping one for a light dinner later that night. Thank you Thai Fusion for a nice lunch option here in Kiribilli. Hope to be back someday soon. Supporting local businesses is awesome and I'd recommend getting your Thai on here at the Thai Fusion Thai restaurant in North Sydney.

4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the ambiance. 4.0 stars for the food and the service.

    Support local!

Nice meal, but nothing spectacular. Food was served hot & presented. The chicken satay skewers were meaty however the satay sauce was a bit to thick & had a strange glue like texture. The pad Thai was tasty but again there was a underlining of sweetness that felt out of place, even the wedge of lime couldn't balance the flavour. Compared to similar Thai places in Kirribilli I would say it's the runner up in flavour, atmosphere & price.

I ate at this restaurant  twice this week . It is one of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney. Large servings with fresh ingredients and superb sauces. Main courses range from $15 to $23 . A taxi driver who was eating at table near me said the Thai fried rice was " amazing". The chef who you can watch cooking your meal should be awarded a " one hat" . My fave meal is Gai Prik Haeng or number 24 on the menu , a magnificent chicken stir fry.

Gluten free menu.  Got to love that.

Great location, easy parking or catch the train if you prefer.

The food is fresh and tasty.

Good spot for a team lunch as they have long tables.

This is the best Thai restaurant in Sydney.

Never disappoints.  Owner/chef is a legend.  Very friendly staff.

This restaurant use to be fabulous, unfortunately it is no longer our fave Thai. Staff are hopeless and the food has gone downhill. Not sure if it is new owners, or if the lovely lady owner has taken her eye off the ball?  Such ashame but we won't be back.
